The Brevet Base Pool allows you to enter the world of water safety training offered by the SSS. Where are the danger zones in a pool hidden and how do you notice if a child or adult is drowning? This training trains people with an obligation to supervise in the conduct to adopt for a safe bathing in the piscinES monitored.

Contenu
Pool Hazard Awareness and Drowning Risk Prevention Course.
- Hazard Zones at the Pool
- Basic knowledge of swimming and snorkeling techniques
- Awareness-raising on the issue of “Risk of drowning in young children”
- Monitoring a group in a pool with pool monitoring
- Userescue equipment and rescue techniques
- Rescue Chain Triggering
Public Cible
- People who stay in supervised pools as group supervisors.
- Individuals who are in individually supervised pools.
- People wishing to acquire basic knowledge in the field of prevention of drowning and aquatic rescue in swimming pools.
Durée
8 hours over 4 weeks
Conditions d'Obtention
- the participant has passed all lessons/teaching units and the exam.
The examination for the Base Pool Patent is passed when:
- the swimming test (100 m of swimming in a ventral position in less than 3 minutes) is passed;
- Participant actively participated in the Base Pool Rescue Exercise.
